You know I love a good "Guess the song from the lyrics!" meme. Everyone knows that. What you don't know is that I don't so much love a Bean-posted "Guess the song from the lyrics meme"... because I never know as many of them as I should. What you also don't know is that I just tried to download the very song you were listening to when you posted this a few days ago. There were about 7 million versions of the song, and I chose that one because I was like, "I don't know half of the people singing these, but I know those two, so I will go for that one. Plus, bean listens to those guys, so they can't be all that bad." That's right, when I see Ella and Loius, I don't think "legends!" I think "bean!"

1. "Jumper" by Third Eye Blind

5. LOL. I have no idea what this is on yours. If it was mine it would be "I Wonder If I Take You Home" by Lisa Lisa and The Cult Jam.

6. I knew it was familiar, so I Googled it. Thus I know who it is but I will not say. I fail, as I own the CD.
13. I know it's "Summertime", but I don't know whose version it is. My ( ... )

Aw! How sweet! Except that it's not Louis Armstrong, it's Louis Jordan, and I have almost no idea who that is. Certainly not a legend.

1. You are the first person to get this! Congratulations!
5. Um...no. I actually think this is the only song by this group that I have, since I generally don't like them.
6. Aw.
13. My version is by Billie Holiday in a tribute to Gershwin classics. It's originally from Porgy and Bess.
15. Correct! And you are actually the one who gave this song to me since it's from "Love".
17. Yay! Yeah, it's Dylan. It occurs to me that I should probably have Hendrix, and I would have accepted that as correct, but I'm excited that you knew about and chose Dylan.
25. Excuse me? It's MacBeth. And awesome people do, that's who.

Aww, mass confusion strikes again! I totally knew that you listen to Louis Armstrong, but Louis Jordan is a legend too! Of course he is a legend I would not have known had I not taken a class on the subject, but (even though I can't tell you anything he did, as he was from the 1920s, big band music and all that) that does not negate his legend status.
1. Yes! What do I win? I demand a prize!
5.LOL. I knew that the one you had was not the one I know. Though I bet that if I looked into it, your song blatantly stole that line from my song. More on this later.
6.To add to it, if am not mistaken, I not only own that CD, I own all of their CDs. That only makes it worse, right?
13. Now I wonder if in my version the musical that Walt Tenor is performing in is indeed "Porgie and Bess." To the Youtube! It is. Here's proof. Now I want to watch the movie. Alas, it is late and I work early tomorrowday.
15. Nice! The more versions of Beatles songs the better! That's what I always say! Or at least it's what I'm saying right now. Unless the song sucks. ( ... )
