Wow. I thought my training had horrible gaps in it.

Okay, that wasn't encouraging at all. Sorry. :\

Anyway, I just want to commend you for handling this as well as you seem to be. I would have cried. You're amazing for being able to do that at all.

At this point, though, you should definitely talk to someone about this, whether it's your SM or ASM or a shift you feel like you can actually talk to. Your shifts shouldn't be making you do that when you don't feel ready for it; it's unfair.

yeah i agree with the above poster. speak up because something is not right here. i cant imagine an asm or sm would allow a new partner to be like left in the dust like that. sounds like your shifts/lcs need some coaching of their own.

Alright chill out, don't worry sure the training program isnt going according to plan but you need about 50 percent of the stuff you learn its all basic info the most important knowledge is bar training and DT so it looks like your getting your bar trainig pretty quickly most partners dont get intensive bar training for months, dont worry about the lines cause all you can do is make a few drinks at a time no one can crank out ten drinks simoultaneously. Explain to customer that your new most will understand and the ones that dont be sure to remember their faces cause once u get a grasp of what ur doing u'll be making them look confused. Good luck

That's why they changed the training program to put people on bar FIRST, before they even touch register. :)

You should definitely talk to someone about it. I can't believe they left you alone on bar on your third day. Sounds like you did great, though! I would've died had they done that to me, I almost had a panic attack the first time I was on bar, and I had someone right beside me.
