I have to say, reading this makes me happy I decided to give a pass to CC this year. I was planning to take a break anyway, travel somewhere else, and it sounds like it's a nightmare for those who were hoping to attend. I don't know who the organizers are but it sounds dreadful.
I'm still tempted to give it a pass this year. At least I have the passes (maybe....), so I can decide whether to keep or cancel. Consider yourself lucky you didn't bother. :P
Absolutely everything about registration this year was handled badly. I can't tell whether the CC organizers are just trying to build hype ("CC 2011 passes sold out in one day!"), they don't give a damn because they know all the tickets will sell no matter HOW many delays they have, or they're honestly THAT incompetent.
It really sounds like ComicCon is becoming less for fans and more for the entertainment industry - like a multimedia E3. Sucks that acquiring tickets has been such a headache for ya~

You okay? I know you're not on the tsunami side of the country, but I was wondering if you were in one of the shaky bits.
