This brings back fantastic memories. What a great write up of the first day. I can't wait to read the rest.
The Exhibit Hall was insane! I stil have a bag of swag I need to sort through. Don't get me started on the terrible t-shirts, particularly the ones for the women. And I haven't forgotten dragging you from one end of the Exhibit Hall to the other trying to find a True Blood one. I'm so sorry about that -- you were a great sport. BTW I got in contact with the women I had seen the shirt on (we had exchanged emails at the TB panel) and she said she got it off the HBO site so looks like that's where I gotta go.
I'm so ticked off I missed the Wonder Women panel. It was one of the ones on my "I really, really, really wanna go" list but I just couldn't fit it in. Everyone I talked to who went to it said it was fantastic. Sigourney Weaver is just -- AAAAAAHHHHH. Love her. And I think the answer given about bad female characters because writers are too busy trying to write female characters instead of interesting characters very

This post will be the most pic-spammy out of all of them, I think. The first day you're seeing everything for the first time, the other days you're seeking out the awesome stuff.
Most of my swag is back in Canada, but I took a couple of postcards and buttons back to Japan with me to put up on my wall. Just to remind myself how awesome it was. And don't worry about dragging me around the exhibit hall! I loved exploring it, and it was fun to have someone else to do it with for a while. :)
Sigorney said something to that effect during the panel. The role of Ripley was originally meant to be a male role, but she got it and made it her own. Prime example of exactly what they were talking about: don't write "female characters", just write GOOD characters.
Meeting David Lawrence was awesome. He's a really funny guy in real life, and a very good sport about being fangirled over.
Yep! I can make a locked post with the pictures of you, Tuesday, barkinmad, and other assorted LJ people so you can download them. (I didn't include any here, in case anyone didn't want pictures of themselves in a public post.) Just need to finish resizing them.
BLASPHEMY! Nurse Chapel's blonde. With all their awesome costumes they missed this glaring detail, shame I say. She should have had a blonde wig instead of a brown one. I like Bones, he got McCoy's hair down.
That's as close as Sylar would get to the real one. Nice picture.
I heard that a few people met ZQ at various points during the con, but I wasn't one of them. Just as well, I probably would have kept the dolly in my bag. SORRY, G.

Hey, Amanda, could you send me the pictures that have me in them? My mom keeps asking for them.
