Maybe I've been watching Lost too much, but when a character gets an entire episode to themselves and their back-story, it sets off alarm bells for me.
I KNOW. I was in hysterics a few weeks ago, because I heard there would be a Sayid episode, complete with childhood flashbacks, and I was like, "Noooooooo!!!" having all sorts of memories of that random Charlie episode that started out with him as a child learning how to swim. Thank goodness that didn't happen, though. You're right about the female characters, though. I liked Daphne a lot, and Tracy, too. Are there any females left other than Claire (ugh).

There aren't! And that makes it even worse! I mean, I'm okay with Claire in moderate doses (when her storyline doesn't suck so much it's PAINFUL, anyway), but I liked Daphne and Tracy SO much more. And Angela, for that matter. If Angela dies too, it's sure not going to help their track record with female characters.

I spent last week getting caught up on Lost (up to episode 11 of this season now). Childhood flashbacks are usually a death sentence, but it looks like Sayid managed to dodge the bullet. Unlike a CERTAIN SOMEONE. D: (I've said it before and I'll say it again: NICE JOB BREAKING IT, HEROES.)

They consistently keep Claire and she consistently sucks. It's a damn shame. I loved Tracy, partly because she was a professional who had a job that was kind of interesting (even though she was sleeping with that guy). A JOB! On Heroes! Can you imagine?

OMG, that cartoon... D: And I say this as someone who's reaction to the shooting was, "Don't run away! Make sure the little blighter is dead!" No child who sends flaming buses into houses where he knows innocent people are sleeping just to get what he wants, and who rejoices when someone puts ninja moves on someone he knows, is a nice and innocent kid. That is a bad egg, and I didn't buy that it was Richard's machinations that took away his innocence.

INORITE? That's what I liked about the beginning of volume 4: most of the characters went back to their day jobs before the shit hit the fan. (I know we're not supposed to care because it's inconvenient for the plot, but seriously, characters like Peter spent the better part of two seasons just...wandering around. I always wonder about silly things like where they sleep, or when they take the time to buy new clothes, or where Sylar got all the money he seemed to have on him on his road trip with Luke.)

Hee, I love those comics. SO CUTE.

LOL, Ben's actually my favourite character. (Though I did wonder why Sayid wouldn't make sure to finish the job. SERIOUSLY, Sayid? That's just sloppy of you.) At least Sayid was TRYING, I guess. Everyone else has been all, "Well, you can't change history! Guess we'll just sit here and go along with it!" And still somehow ( ... )

Raise your hand if you're in any way surprised that he'd forgive Nathan. Sylar's going to have a FIELD DAY with his brother issuez if they meet again.

o/\o/\o

Look... Not only to I have my own hands up, I'm holding up other people's. :P Sylar is totally going to screw Peter's mind up if when they meet again. Nathan knows exactly where Peter's "OMG!FORGIVE" button is, as much as Sylar knows where the "OMG!family-isshuz" button is. And that is NOT meant a slashy kinda way, so stop it. :P

I'm freaked about a possible 'end' to Angela as well. It would suck because like you said, she is really one of the most interesting characters on the show. However, since I haven't heard even the slightest whisper about this actually happening, I will continue to live in my happy 'The Petrelli family survives this season' world.

If Angela dies, the only female character they'll have left is Claire. DO NOT WANT. D:

I haven't heard anything to suggest Angela will die either, but still... I fear for her. More-intense-than-usual backstory episode = death sentence on Lost, so I hope the same doesn't hold true for Heroes.

I suppose Angela and the others wiped his memory along with everyone else's, yes? That's about the only way it makes a lick of sense.

Hmm... I don't think so. If his memory had been wiped, then he wouldn't have those files about Coyote Sands down in his basement.

Also, how hilarious was it that everyone was just all, " 'Sup, Mohinder?" when he showed up? LOL.

I'm not sure why, but this just made me laugh hysterically. LOLOLOL.

THAT IS TRUE. Post edited. Guess it IS just plain old retcon fail. (SERIOUSLY, HEROES? SERIOUSLY? IS IT REALLY THAT HARD TO DO A FLASHBACK THAT DOESN'T INVOLVE RETCONNING?)
