"So far it's looking like a repeat of last volume, in that he goes from "Daddy! Mommy!" to "Fuck it. BRAINZ, BITCHES!!" in the space of an episode. Who knows. At least he got a stuffed bunny for his trouble this time
( ... )
I think he's got a new purpose now. To go for challenges, a new fulfilling one?
From what they hinted at in Behind The Eclipse, I'd be surprised if they went for even THAT much of a change in his M.O. Guess we'll see in two weeks time, but unless he proves otherwise, I'm kind of assuming the PTB have reset him back to "STEALING BRAINZ AND KILLING PEOPLE WHO PISS ME OFF" mode. :/
I guess I liked the EVILDAD more than I thought I would just because he was so...casual. Like 'I don't even remember why I killed your mommy, lol'.
I liked EVILDAD's attitude. If he was going to be a serial killer, it was at least amusing for him to be all, "Yeah, I used to kill people. So? It's not like it's helping me NOW. Want to kill a bunny, son?"
Man, I frequent comic book stores and I got the same treatmentThe comic book stores in my hometown back in Canada were rarely like that. There was only one where I felt like there was any amount of "OMG A GIRL IN A COMIC STORE!" idiocy (so I didn't go to that one very often). The other two had a pretty even

(a snow globe from INDIA? I'm surprised the Mylar slashers haven't jumped on THAT one yet)
LOL, I totally missed that one XD
John Glover did impress me, but... the character was disappointing. I guess that was supposed to be the point of those scenes, but I'm wary of the possibility that he might pop up again, especially because, like you said, Sylar told him where he got the ability to regenerate. As if Claire needs another killer coming after her! Poor girl. On another note, I personally want this to be the absolute end of Sylar's *~soul searching~*, and that is the last time I ever want to hear any mention of THE HUNGAAAR, even though I LOL'ed for quite a while because I knew exactly when it was coming and said it right along with Sr. Gray.
Sylar could have at LEAST woken up with daddy poking around in his brain before the smackdown commenced. It's not like he doesn't deserve a taste of his own brain-eating. I DEMAND GORE.OMG, I so wanted to see that happen too. I actually expected to see it going on in the next scene,

LOL, bunny. I want an icon. Also, one of Mr. Muggles with that sandwich. There must be some floating around the interwebs by now...
I liked the chat with HRG. Just cause you want to be a hero doesn't mean you'll always do the Right Thing. Or even know what it is.
The comic book stuff was both funny and annoying.
I'm glad Matt didn't get blown up. Although now that he's had his face plastered all over national television with a bomb... he's going to have one heck of a lot of problems if/when he escapes the feds.
I'll take a look for icons. Or make some. You can never have too many Mr. Muggles icons.
Claire's storyline has been pretty good this volume. It's nice to see her trying to be a hero and discovering just how hard it is to make the right calls. And her mom is awesome.
Why do all the future-painters end up having really terrible things happen to them? Even if Matt escapes, he'll have a hell of a time getting back to anything resembling a normal life after being on the news as a "terrorist". Still waiting for Daphne to escape, too...
