OBJECTION!

Finally finished Ace Attorney 4. It wasn't as good as the first three, but it had its moments. And some clever approaches to solving the cases. The bits near the end of the last case was a cool way to approach things, even if the actual ending was kinda lacking and sudden. (LOL devilobsidian, I read those comics you linked a while ago. I agree. [HUGE ACE ( Read more... )

I'm going to go with Dexter, the story about a killer who you know..kills....okay I haven't seen it yet but it's suppose to be GOOD. Very good.

And glad you liked the strips, when I saw them I cracked up and went back to look at them several times since they were so funny.

I share your view on the game as well, but hey we got something even better to look forward too, Perfect Prosecutor featuring Miles Edgeworth. That's like the universe decided to orgasm pure awesome.

Someone else recommended Dexter to me as well. I've decided to plow through the rest of Lost first, but it's another one to add to the list for afterwards.

Those comics were freaking HILARIOUS. I didn't even think back to the beginning of the game after I finished it, but the comics pretty much hit the nail on the head. Knowing what we know by the end of the game, why the FUCK was, er..."Mr. Smith" trying to screw [SPOILER] over during the poker game? I literally can't think of a single explanation other than him being a dick who did it for the lulz.

Yeah exactly. Once I read those comics I tried to figure out a motivation and couldn't come up with a single thing other than yeah, he really is a jerk.

I especially liked the end with his final note.

Such a jerk.

What's great about Life on Mars is that it isn't so much about the ending, it's about the journey: watching this guy struggle with everything he knows (or thought he knew) being ripped away, and trying to make a life in this new world. And the people he interacts with, who are changed by him even though he often feels what he's doing is futile.

My RLBF is completely enamored of Dexter right now. I've watched a few episodes but never got massively into it; she's obsessed with serial killers and what makes them tick.

I've decided to finish plowing though what I have left to watch of Lost before I get even MORE spoiled for it, but I'll put Life on Mars and Dexter on my list for afterwards. After last season of Doctor Who, I could go for some more John Simms.
