Poll The Power of Madonna

I have a HUGE PING for BFFs, platonic or not. Because of that, I'd been looking forward to this episode since I was spoiled back in February for the 4 Minutes number. EPISODE? DID NOT DISAPPOINT. More thoughts later!

PARTLY YES PARTLY NO, I actually create polls pretty much any chance I get. But yours did inspire me. :'D

I really seriously love fictional BFFs, so I've always loved Kurt/Mercedes. AND I SAID THE SAME THING. I wouldn't be opposed to watch them sit around doing nothing but be themselves, for hours. Kurt is 100% gay, but Mercedes is his forever girl for sure.

I'm so in love with them right now that I made kurtmercedes. When I get home, I'll fix it up and stuff. :D :D :D

I do so appreciate polls about naked Finn. Especially while logged in this account.

I would love to see a scene on the show that lets us know what Kurt's dad or Mercedes' parents think of their epic friendship.

OMG IT'S LIKE YOU'RE IN MY HEAD I SWEAR!!!1 There are so many fics of Burt meeting every stud in Lima, and all I could think about as I got to work was how awesome would it be to read a Burt and Mercedes fic. Just like. Anythign about them. I bet Burt sometimes gets confused and he's like, "HE'S PRETTY CLOSE TO HER AND KISSES HER ON THE CHEEK ALL THE TIME . . . AND SHE'S ALWAYS AROUND . . ." And Mercedes' parents think Kurt is super smart and a good influence in Mercedes, I bet. :B

I had fair few misgivings about the episode but I kept going back to the "4 Minutes" number because Kurt and Mercedes are all sorts of great in it. Plus I really hope the possibility of more Cheerios numbers means that Santana might get another solo because I loved actually hearing her in "Like a Virgin."

I loved the episode from start to finish. It even made me enjoy Will! I was getting tired of Sue, and this episode made me like her again. Really, if all the episodes this season are like Power of Madonna, but a couple less music numbers, I'll be happy.

4 Minutes is a song that really isn't that great all in all, but they worked the hell out of it. It's not even about how great they were in it, but what a crowning moment of awesome it was for the characters, and how the show made sure to drive that point home.

Santana is/was great. The more I rewatch, the more I like her. I'm so glad they bumped up her role and Britt's.

Okay, yeah, this was the first time I've liked Will in... man, I don't know. A while. Florence Henderson-based insults in 2010 are delightful.

See, I have never heard "4 Minutes" outside of Glee because my knowledge of Madonna is basically limited to the basics (possibly part of why the episode didn't do much for me). I imagine I would like it much less without the marching band arrangement, those vocals, and the whole visual spectacle.

Yeah, I've loved Brittany pretty much since "male duck" but Santana has been really fun for the last two episodes. I love that their roles have seemingly been expanded for the back nine.

Will has never been a favorite of mine, but in this episode, I felt like the writers had finally figured out how to make him likable to the part of the population that doesn't find Matt Morrison attractive beyond all faults. Hopefully they'll keep on keeping on that line.

Neither had I! And I'm so glad someone else hadn't, because I was made to feel like a music ignoramus when I said I hadn't. I listened to it when an extra spoiled it to get a feel for the scene. It's not terrible or anything, just your typical mainstream song.

Me too. Full disclosure, I didn't care much about them in the front 13. I found Brittany cute, but I wasn't wild about her. But I'm alllll about more of them now.
