....Halloween?

It would seem it is some kind of celebration or festive, though I have no idea of what. I hear talk of candy and costumes.

Would ayone care to enlighten me on this subject?

Halloween is a holiday when kids get dressed up in costumes and go to homes and ask for candy. It's called "Trick or Treat". Basically, you either give the kids candy, or they'll play a trick on you...like throw eggs at your house.

It's a celebration of the day of the dead, just dulled down greatly to get a lot of people involved in fun.
