“Okay have you ever had a customer that paid well but then was never at the pickup point on time or didn’t tell, I mean did tell everyone about your business, and then tried to make it okay with more se- money?” Peter blurted out.

I really like how you compared Peter and Jason's relationship to a drug deal that almost, but not yet, goes bad. It not only gives me a glimpse into the character of Peter, but Lucas as well. Lucas's response shows that he's a generous patient person, and the last line was truly earned.
