I've finally decided that I really ought to put my book reviews on a wordpress blog, because I like a lot of the wordpress features that are on offer, so today I've been importing my LJ to wordpress. It's an exercise in complete tediousness, because I have to go through each entry and figure out whether it needs to be included or not

Darn, I could use a good rant this morning. I woke up on the wrong side of the bed, it seems.

Well, it basically amounts to my usual mutterings about why it seems to be too much to expect certain inexplicably (to me) popular romance writers to put some thought into writing good heroines. The hero of the book I'm reading is... well, he's not much better realized, but the heroine doesn't get any sort of characterization beyond embodying all the cliches I hate.

Heh, I don't know if that's ranty enough. I haven't been to bed yet so my brain is slowly shutting down.
