John so confused by the events. But the Impala being there as he proposed. She is always there.

I really love the constancy of the car. And being able to look into the past and try to think about how things would have/must have happened is something I'm really enjoying!

GREAT explanation on Samuel's death. I always wondered what John thought when he woke up. And I always pictured him wondering why Mary stabbed her own father. Ha. Cause that's sure as heck what it would have looked like to me. Your version is much better. *nods*

Thanks! I'm having a picnic figuring out how to fold the canon events of the episodes into the tapestry I'm weaving of the Impala's history without doing violence to anything along the way. It's going to get really interesting as I keep exploring John and Mary, and then progress to John and the boys, just John and Dean, Dean alone, Dean and Sam, Sam alone, and Dean and Sam together again ... Wheeeee!
