Again, a brilliant encapsulation of the times. The Impala is taking us on a little time-travel! :-)

The Impala as time machine and mute witness to history was the whole idea behind doing these stories ...

Thanks!

When the DeLoreans first came out, I wanted one so badly; I loved those gull-wing doors! But I loved '67 Chevys even earlier ... *grin*

I love Stu. What a great, complex character. I love that he's so committed to protesting, yet, if it comes down to it, he'll go & fight in a war he doesn't agree with because he knows he's no better or more special than anyone else who is there.

Just...awesome.

Thanks, Rap! I really got to like Stu as I got to know him; he's decent, y'know? And a good man to own our girl ...

*sneaks in with eyes closed*

Professor ... I'm not reading at the moment. I just wanted to let you know I've been copying them off each day and saving them to read together on Sunday nights. I have a 2 hour window each Sunday night that I need something to read or I go bonkers and I've decided the next couple weeks will include your Impala stories. So ... just cause I'm not here daily, doesn't mean I'm not reading. Just not reading each day as it happens.

I'm savoring the experience you are providing!!!! *grins*

Thank you, Keeper! Read them in your own good time. I'm not managing to keep up with the "one a day like vitamins" regimen, either; between work and the home remodeling, I'm a crunchy critter, and I definitely KNOW that I won't have writing time when I'm on the trip to Vancouver for vacation and the con, so these will come in fits and starts, I'm afraid.

I do hope you enjoy them when you (and I!) get to them ... *grin*
