YES. OMG YES. I agree with everything here, and hope that there'll be peace when we are done.

My only question is, when this is done, how can the Winchesters ever return to "normalcy"? Will they continue this lifestyle? Will all the demons disappear? Where can this finish?

Thanks for coming!

I don't think there could ever be a return for the Winchesters to anything approximating what we would consider normalcy, but I could see the brothers realizing that there is a heaven as well as a hell and that they have a shot at it. I could also see the brothers, even as they continued to hunt, modifying how they did it in order to have more human contacts in their lives once they get most of the currently escaped demons back where they belong.

That said, I'll admit that I have no clue where Kripke plans to take the story. I'm perfectly content to watch wherever he takes it because I trust that the trip will be worth it no matter what the final destination turns out to be, because it's the journey that really matters. It's life and choice and how we make the trip and whom we meet along the way ...

I think Lilith made her escape from the little girl when Ruby and Sam split up in the hallway right before he went into the room where the girl and her mom were. There was no real reason for Ruby to have gone into a bedroom and closed the door, so I assume that was the "reason" for it.

In a lot of ways, I think this was the best episode of the season.

We're thinking alike on the moment when Lilith moved!

This episode was definitely among the very best of all seasons, for many reasons. I'm still lost in the wow ...

Awwww....

Let's say that Dean broke me completely. Especially because of what could happen next.

Thank you so much for this. You put into words some of the things I'm thinking and feeling, and give me whole new set of things to think about at the same time. I love how your love for the boys, and the whole story, comes out in what you write.

At the moment, I'm desperately overwhelmed with the belief that the Sam and Dean I know and love are gone forever - but hey. If there'll be peace when we're done, then I'm happy.

Thank you :)

Thank you! This show does something very profound to me, and all I can do is try to pass that on.

I don't believe that the brothers we know and love are gone. I do believe that we'll go through dark times and hard changes right along with them, but I can't help but believe that in the end, the qualities we've loved in them from the start will triumph.

Hence my tagline, from Blue October's "For My Brother" - Whenever you're dark inside, don't let go.
