a) This is up to you - if you would like to join in with the song, which is easy, then it would be great to have you, but we could manage without if not. So decide based on what you would like and can manage to bring.

b) I have absolutely no idea. I am not very good with electric instruments. I am not even 100% sure the guitar will work, I need to get strings for it as it's been unused for years. I only know that the amp works because I have played the electric mandolin with it.

Hi.

Any time after 3 for Belper station.

I can bring a small fender amp, if you like?

Also, I might have a spare set of strings for electric guitars - I shall have a look.

Finally, one thought at a time, if you were really unsure about your guitar, I could bring mine up, which I know works.

I am really pretty unsure about the guitar, as it is in a right old state (it is Giles' old one, really beaten-up) and now is not a good time to try to make it work. If it is not a tremendous hassle for you it would be really fantastic if you were willing to bring and lend your guitar and amp. If this isn't possible I'll try to string mine and see what happens. Worst-case I can just use the acoustic, which I will bring anyway. Thank you so much for offering this.

Will your electric take a capo? I will need to fiddle about with keys.

Also, I have a drum synth on my PC, which I think I can connect to the stereo at the chapel.

This would be awesome - will you have that computer with you anyway? Also, will it need to be programmed and just set running, or can someone operate it live so as to keep in time with an under-rehearsed and over-enthusiastic very-small panto-punk band?

The band will kind of have to keep in time with it. We can maybe rehearse.
