We bought getaway_machine's plane ticket today. She gets here on the 22nd, there is a family party on the 23rd, a store party on the 24th, a Jenny concert on the 26th, and a long-ass drive on the 27th/28th. Those directions... look really fucked up? I'd actually like to talk to my mom about it, since we used to drive here -> Ohio all the time, and she'd at least be able to tell me what we used through most of the trip that we'll be doing, heh, and we had it down pretty well.

also?

omg.

like...

I don't even know.

ok so i just talked to my parents and my dad says that it was 12 hours bc i was asleep when we left and we ran straight into traffic first thing. my mama drives pretty fast, i think she did it in 11-ish, but there was no traffic. mapquest says 10 hours, but obviously there's traffic. but since atl is a bit into ga, it should be a lot shorter. so you can do it! haha

When we drive down to Greensboro, we take I-81 instead of 95. It avoids all those major cities so it ends up being much shorter.

Apparently that's what the people who drive down to Florida every winter take, so we're seriously considering it. It definitely *looks* better.
