Beware the capitalisation monster.

In one of my worlds, 'the Crowd' is shorthand for the Rhiaton Crowd, a specific group of mages who are central to much plot.

So far, so good. My fingers want to capitalize 'crowd' whenever I am talking about a bunch of people. Which is not so good.
