Well I appreciate that I am not one of the people you avoid (or do you?! cry), though I think most of us can do better when public speaking. But public speaking is difficult for some of us. We do most of our talking behind a computer!

That said, I enjoy panels. It's fun to talk to other writers and meet an audience and hear what they have to say as well.

You're fine on panels, K-Lo! I think I've only seen two of your panels, and one of them was with Joe Haldeman, who can carry a panel all by himself, he's so interesting.
