I can totally see this happening. But really how much soap can you need? I can see my friends running when they see me coming. NO no more soap Barbana! Ahahahahah!

Soap-making is something I've wanted to try, I've just never gotten around to it. Yay for you! Do let us know how it turns out!

Scented? Unscented?

Good question barbana April 27 2011, 05:41:37 UTC
These happen to be scented. Actually I experimented with just ONE teeny oz of sesame oil in my recipe and it was so overwhelming that I think I went overboard with the scent trying to balance it out. HOPEFULLY when it cures and dries it will mello out some but right now it's kind of heavy. However what you see there are shampoo bars so really only I'm going to use them and they'll just be on my head and then rinsed with apple cider so hopefully it won't be too cloying.

You live and learn.

If you decide you want to give the molded soaps a try, let me know - I have a ton of molds, colors, and scents that are just taking up space. I finally ran out of people to give my soap to *g*.
