I have a rather healthy VHS collection from back in the day when I didn't have to pay for my own gas, food, and other expenses, but for the past couple of years I wasn't able to watch them because I didn't have a working VHS player. You made me laugh. :D
Oh how I want to finish parakisu.
And the Sailor Moon dub is pure evil. I'm sorry, it just is. I don't make the rules.

Last time I checked, FYE had copies of ParaKiss volumes one through three for sale. Failing that, you can find the completed series on YouTube.
The DiC dub wasn't half bad, considering some of the other dubs that came out of that time period. It was also heads and tails above the Cloverway dub. =/ The only thing I really fault the DiC dub for was Zoicite's forced sex change.

Ne, did you ever have an Andrew Hairstans as a prof at AUM? I have drawing 101 with him this summer. And W also a class with Sue Jensen. Just curious if there's anything I should know about them going in. :)

I had Prof. Hairstans for Drawing 3, but had to drop the course in order to keep up with my art history and film studies courses. He was really cool, though; his classes are a little more structured than Prof. Mills, but not super-strict, he's easy to talk to and gives good advice if you're having problems with this or that piece of work. Sue Jensen...oh, yeah, I had Foundations 2 with her. She's awesome, she's always bringing in little articles about different post-modern artists and stuff to the class. She's pretty easygoing, and she let me get away with making weird, fussy little projects out of styrofoam balls all semester. =D

Actually, I rather like the SH manga, despite the fact that Marron's face kept changing throughout the first volume. It was a bit more violent, for starters, and when you take into account what Carrot et al's job...well, it's more fitting. But the anime is cool, too. It was a very clean and fluid animation style, which I appreciate, and the original seiyuu were top-notch. And...I like the opening and ending themes. I know, I know, liking anime themes makes me a total weaboo, but whatever. =D
