Feeling an unexpected yet remarkable sense of relief at deciding not to go to D*C this year.

By the way, are there any profs in the AUM art dept that I should avoid?

Mmm...not really, no. Most of the profs are pretty laid back. Going in for an art degree? =3

That's good to hear, thank you. :) Yes, I've been considering it for a while now, and if I can get my shiz together in the next 2 weeks, hopefully I'll be taking my first class then. :D

I didn't care much for his work as Kougaiji in Saiyuki (he sounded too young), and I don't have high hopes for his upcoming role as Fay in Tsubasa; I think there's no way the man could possibly summon up the spunk for it. Also, he's been positively wanky in regards to CLAMP fandom: "I LIKE GIRLS, SO FAY DOES TOO! and "THERE ARE NO GAYS IN MANGA, YAOI IS LIKE DEFACING SOMEONE'S ART!1" being the start of it, and then there's the recent wank about how "FAY'S NAME IS NOW FAI, 'CAUSE FAY IS A GIRL'S NAME!". Granted, the anti-yaoi rant was actually sparked because of his "righteous indignation" over the RoyXEd pairing when he was doing that role, but considering that he's been so vocal about his opinions on yaoi and is supposed to perform for a yaoi- and yuri-friendly fandom (CLAMP started out as yaoi doujinshii artists, and have many malexmale pairings in their professional works) I can't see and end to the wank in that sector. Especially since Fay D. Flourite is very, very..."fabulous ( ... )
