On the scav. <800MB Laptop HDD.

Does anyone have a <800MB (this is a hard limit) laptop harddrive which they don't want or would be willing to sell to me for a few quid?

If I don't ask I don't get...

Um, have a whole (ancient) laptop here you can have if you like, once it's cleared of memory. Have no idea of the spec- it's a Toshiba T2150-CDT, has Windows 98, is pretty basic- has no USB port etc. But if it's useful to you for bits, you're welcome to it.

Ooh that might just be the badger we're after. Not entirely sure how we get it from you to me, but I am sure we can work on that. The harddrive is allegedly 500mb which is perfect.

It might be a good opportunity to come and say hello to you or something. :)

Sounds good to me. Irritatingly, I was in Yorkshire last weekend, before I saw this post. If you're going to Brighton Bifest, or someone you'll be seeing soonish is, that might be a solution...otherwise, drop me an email (LJ address works)

I have an 8Gb IBM laptop drive that I was going to put on ebay. It was brought as a present to repair a laptop, but it turned out the drive controller was duff. Anyway, it works well. Let me know if you want it?
