didyouknow: Zooming quickly in apps (ctrl+scroll)

I suspect most of you know that if you hold down [Ctrl] key and scroll with your mouse wheel that you can zoom in and zoom out in many apps very quickly.

Didn't know that either! and have just tested to see if it works in Gimp, which it does, which will be v useful. Thank you!

I knew about this, found it out accidentally a few years ago. :)

I think I knew a long time ago, but almost never want to zoom in/out much so ctrl[shift]+/- works fine.

OTOH maps have now been invented online - must try it on them...
