Did I ever mention that I love this correspondences? I was a huge MASH fan in the past and this reminds me of it... I admire your description of the war. It seems so authentic to me.

I haven't really watched MASH, I've just studied US history pretty thoroughly. This war is kind of loosely based off of WWII. The thoughts and situations I took from documentaries and from one of my Vietnam Veteran friends (more like Uncle, lol). That's how I'm keeping it authentic. I do gloss over a lot of the shit they go through since there isn't enough time to really cover it all.

I'm really happy to hear you love these stories. I don't get many readers for them as of late. People like you keep me going at it.

MASH tried to reveal the senselessness and horrors of war by parodying it. It was funny and terrifying at the same time.
You seem to have a lot of authentic sources and I like how the characters interact through letters. Keep it up, it's really good
