Okay, basically, I'm preparing to head out into the heaving throng to do what amounts to *cough* all my xmas shopping. I was waiting for the cool change, and that's my excuse. :) Wish me luck. Or axes. Either will come in handy, I'm sure.

I survied, we got lots and lots of lovely rain, and Walhalla is indeed still standing! :) She lost one of her rail bridges though, but it's a small price to pay, really. Fires got to within 500m of the Star Hotel. *shudder* Being in that deep valley saves them from a lot, but if fire actually got in, it'll rip through there like nobody's business. Doesn't bear thinking about, really.
