:D I had to drag the pic onto my desktop and play with the tints for a bit, but it is now in the rotation for my desktop pics. (It changes each time the computer wakes from sleep.)

The lot of 'em look a bit cranky, don't they? And poor Dan, so short in comparison to the twins and Dean.

Can't wait until the hair grows out. I'm not liking that short hair on J&O at ALL right now.

I'd be cranky, too, if I was being repressed by Dolores Umbridge. :D

I really don't mind the short hair, though they do look a little finer with it long (more comfortable, too, poor lads do miss it so). At least their current hair is a MILLION times better than their CoS hair! ;)

Heh. Umbridge in all her pink glory. I'm so excited to see how the twins' escapades play out onscreen.

I watched CoS again recently, and was appalled by the hair and the striped jumpers, which seemed dowdier than ever. But that was a brief thought, surpassed by some of the other oddments that came to the fore as I watched in terms of movie vs. book detail and the various actors in their roles.

::squees:: Yay! I think I can name almost all the characters in that picture. Only the two people on the far left confuse me.

Only, the twins cut their hair! ::wails:: They were so much hotter with long hair! Not that they're unattractive now, but still. ::pouts::

Wait, Dan cut his hair too. What is it with these people and cutting their hair?! Rupert looks like he did in second year! Long hair is not just for girls people. ::sighs::

One of those lads would be Michael Corner. Can't remember off the top of my head who the other boy in the DA was...

The twins cut their hair straight after finishing filming GoF! Didn't you know? :) They had to go that short to get rid of all the dyed ginger.

And Dan cut his hair for his role in December Boys (which was set in the '60s, when all boys had to have shortshort hair). :)

I forgot about that movie. Huh...

Couldn't they give them wigs or hair extensions or something though? Harry's hair is supposed to be kinda shaggy/sticky out-ish.

I was under the impression that everyone's hair was cut short to give a better impression of youth- as they are all rapidly getting so much older than they should really be in the book, maybe the short hair is an atttempt to bring them closer to the age they are supposed to be in OoTP.
Or do y'all think I'm way off base here?

I am in the same boat in regards to their hair- Anything is good when compared to CoS!

But yay for the DA, but I'm a bit crankey since hteir are a few people missing (and I don't just mean goth!Colin)
But soo much squeeage over Zacharias, the Twins and Luna!!!!
