I'm going to say it again. We need to eliminate this useless bureaucracy of "Homeland Security" on account that it's redundant by order of the Second Amendment.
"You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass." - Imperial Japanese Navy Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto

I'd happily sacrifice my soda if I could keep my shoes on. ^.^;;;

Don't even joke about soda, man. Most soda contains dangerous, illicit substances such as ascorbic acid. ACID! You know, the stuff that eats through solid metal and causes psychotic hallucinations that force people to play violent video games! It's almost as deadly as dihydrogen monoxide!

But if you're transferring through ATL and your gun is in your baggage, it wouldn't be considered possession if it's not on your person... or would it?
OH HO OH HO

I don't even want to think about this right now. I'm so steamed about the Phoenix rifle incident today. Dear country: AZ IS OPEN-CARRY. GET OVER IT. God damn.

*nod* When it comes to possession, if you had pot (or some other drug) discovered in your checked baggage, would it be considered possession? :P

(that's the furthest I'm getting into it)...
