I so understand the job search pain. I started looking in Jan and only got an offer in May (in which I start June).. it does take a while and it gets a bit depressing after you've been looking for a while. =\

Mom keeps telling me it's only been two months, but I HATE being like this. I feel like a bum. It's helped my reading a ton but that's about it. :)

I know... I last got paid in July of last year, the money situation is not great but not dire, mostly because I've been a bit more thrifty and because of govt tax rebate. XD. x_X and finished school in Dec, so basically... 5 months of bumming around at home for me? It's really depressing to not find a job for so long though. I'm still antsy because the place I got the job offer from has yet to give me the official letter of employment and the job starts next week.

Yikes. I hope they aren't giving you the run around on that. That would really suck. Maybe you should give them a courtesy call?

I have learned to be thrifty more out of necessicity than willpower. Like, I had to get 'Godchild 5' and 'The Cain Saga 4' this weekend but I hadn't bought stuff in like 6 weeks. For me not to buy manga has been a serious struggle.

Reading about your not finding a job makes me slightly nervous...I'm moving (well, sooner or later) to about an hour from you and I'm wondering if I should just stay put. Even though I plan to mostly temp whilst looking for DJ connections. Also, is it that hard to wrangle unemployment from Florida? I thought I had a hell of a time in New Jersey.

It's just in Dade county where it's hard to find anything. If I lived in Palm Beach or Broward, I am sure I would have a job by now.

I don't know what the deal is with my unemployment. It's not like I haven't done everyhting they wanted of me. Dad says they're just slow like that. Doesn't make it any less annoying.
