Well, in a lot of ways they are still a 'cult' band here, even though their most recent cd has almost gone gold in the States. (I know I've 3 bought copies that I know of- two for and one for a friend.) They hare kinda underrated because- and this is just me- he happens to be easy on the eyes and we all know sex will sell. But the kicker is he *can* sing. People are starting to figure that out as well.
