I just started off the week in a somewhat.....flat, mood, I suppose. I just couldn't get the brain moving one bit and work took longer than it should have, to be honest. I couldn't get moving. Money woes were getting to me in a major way, as well, plus Mom's godmother passed away, so there was a somber mood over the homestead ( Read more... )

A great way to drive 'holier than thou' people nuts is to smile at them. They start getting paranoid, which can be very amusing.

I get this odd suspicion that he might be worried I am going for his job. I look at it like this- if you're worried about your job, maybe you need to start actually *doing* it. That's my take, anyways. You would not believe how many times I have had to deal with that mindset from people. I might not a careerist (yet) but my parents did instill work ethic in all of us. Part of my job is to help customers (but not kiss their rears), make the workplace more workable and to try and have a connection with the rest of the store despite my isolation. I just see it like that, anyways.
