Sorry to hear about the Borders, but ever since I've become a B&N junkie, Waldenbooks doesn't do squat for me. Around here, it's just some teeny mall bookstore (though they did have that Llewelyn Magical Almanac that for some reason my B&N either never reordered or never got around to stocking).
Stupid chick-lit books are the literary equivalent to crappy pop and hip-hop music on the radio. And my parents wonder why I barely read anymore.
It was just the convience of it all. It was close to home, it was comfortable, I knew most of the staff and I could get my manga without issue. It's just....bleah. I am not a happy bibliophile right now.
