I am inordinately excited about Gmail's new canned response feature. Could be a significant enhancement to my workflow (which invites all sorts of questions about my workflow).

The wireless connection here at Fuel is all kinds of slow. Been puttering with wireless stuff at home and work this week, so probably even more critical than usual ( Read more... )

Six so far-they were templates for emails I send every week. Oh, and just in writing this reply, I realized at least two more I can save!

I'm so glad you wrote this. Are you one of the voices in my head?

I love the filter option on Facebook but I wish I could keep it on as a default. I've accepted a few invitations from people I don't really know well because it's not nice to reject people but, hello, overshare!

It's only occasional - it's not like I find my friends at the local road house but the accumulated broadcast of sexual innuendo, medications, lapses in judgment, profanity, political blather... I feel overburdened, not connected.

Sometimes.

Broadcast may be the perfect word, because I have responsibility for when and how often I tune in as well as how I'm receiving it. My filters often aren't calibrated with my limits in mind, and that's totally my fault.

(But wow, we really are a little nuts…)
