This is something we've been hitting on in CG with regard to obedience (relating to hope)-- we can be obedient and believe God has our best interests, or disobedient and make God out to be a liar and don't think He has control over anything. We've seen encouraging victories in a lot of our group who are choosing to be obedient to God in placing their hope in him despite circumstances. It's a blessing to witness.
