I'll fight if you need me to, but I... I'm only going to fight to subdue or knock unconscious. I think maybe...once we get the ship, we should talk it over with them. There has to be a way to get all of us off here before people get hurt. [His fingers graze the stump of his arm]

But I promised someone I wouldn't kill...at least until I had to. I'll stay here and defend if that's the case.

Apparently we were have some saviors, but they can only allow twelve people on board at a time. Captain Harkness is holding this meeting to find out who can be chosen, so they may take over the ship and take everyone out safely.

[mostly addresses jack, but doesn't bother to make what he says discreet.] I think you'd be better off using those twelve strong people to defend the rest of the passengers in case Commander Orion decides to come back and clean up the mess the Crucible made for the IAIC. No one else needs to get hurt and if we come at them with guns blazing, the Commander and everyone onboard will get the wrong idea.
In any case, there has to be a reason why they changed their minds in the first place and suddenly didn't have enough room for us all.

And up against strength in numbers, fear, and desperation with weapons, the results could be disastrous!
