Do me a favour guys, try and keep your spheres turned off?

[ Whether that's effective or not is yet to be seen. When everyone who's going to turn up has ( Read more... )

Funny, I was thinking something along the same lines. Count me in for the mutiny, because there's no way they're taking me down.

Glad to hear I'm not alone.

It's better than standing around waiting for the planet's condition to get worse. Besides, I couldn't let everyone else have all the fun.

Or bickering over who gets one of the twelve places.

[Well, good news is that since his little adventure with the hole, Fuuma's got his arm wrapped up. Bad news: no left hand. :| He makes sure that there's no holes before leaning against another tree, frowning.]

I'll fight if you need me to, but I... I'm only going to fight to subdue or knock unconscious. I think maybe...once we get the ship, we should talk it over with them. There has to be a way to get all of us off here before people get hurt. [His fingers graze the stump of his arm]

[was walking away]

Then you shouldn't go. People who sign up for this shit are gonna go for the kill... also, you're handicapped.

Just because I don't have a hand doesn't mean I can't fight.

But I promised someone I wouldn't kill...at least until I had to. I'll stay here and defend if that's the case.

[blinks at him]

... yeah. Okay. Good luck with that.

[He was there to listen, much like everyone else, because the lack of decision was starting to get to him.]

I'd go more for reversing the order of things -- trying to convince them to come back first, before any kind of takeover. Using force doesn't sit well with me.

Asking nicely works too, but it won't have yielded much in the way of results. I'm pretty sure they gave us our chance to say our piece.

I just think it would be more productive to work with them, rather than against them. What if this takeover doesn't work, and they decide none of us are worth saving?

[Don't mind her. She's keeping away for a bit, and is just mainly listening until she hears something interesting.]

((Hope Ishida doesn't mind clueless, but curious, kidlets too much. xD))

[meekly, Haruka approaches her, deciding that she seemed slightly less scary than the others (judging by appearance) and lightly tugs at her clothes.]

Um, excuse me?

Do you know what's going on here-kamo...?

Hm? Oh, you must be new.

Apparently we were have some saviors, but they can only allow twelve people on board at a time. Captain Harkness is holding this meeting to find out who can be chosen, so they may take over the ship and take everyone out safely.

Really? Thank you-kamo!

I was just wondering if they, um... can they carry objects with them?

[he's been listening to everything so far, observing everyone's reaction to a potential fight and hostile takeover. from the serious expression on his face, he's not exactly liking the plan.]

[mostly addresses jack, but doesn't bother to make what he says discreet.] I think you'd be better off using those twelve strong people to defend the rest of the passengers in case Commander Orion decides to come back and clean up the mess the Crucible made for the IAIC. No one else needs to get hurt and if we come at them with guns blazing, the Commander and everyone onboard will get the wrong idea.

In any case, there has to be a reason why they changed their minds in the first place and suddenly didn't have enough room for us all.

Did I mention guns? I didn't mention guns. [ Jack gives the Doctor a slightly cheeky innocent look. ] I'm hoping for a bloodless takeover. If it doesn't work, then those twelve people are saved and the rest of us are in the same position we were before this decision.

[doesn't buy it, but sighs anyway, shaking his head.] Even if they do return, who's to say the rest of the passengers won't decide at the last minute to overtake the twelve and fight for a spot themselves? Strength in numbers, fear, and desperation is just about the worst combination we can run into.

And up against strength in numbers, fear, and desperation with weapons, the results could be disastrous!
