Pfft. 'Sometimes' he says.

Ok, so, admittedly - it wasn't as bad as it COULD'VE been. But aren't you glad I made them wait to question you until AFTER they got to know you, so they didn't think you were a complete scuz bag right off the bat?

And also? You turn 22 in 6 days. Ha! Old! =D When d'you get off work that day, so I can kidnap you?

Yeah, in the end it was probably better that they knew me beforehand. Though I was worried I was going to end up with another Carla situation on my hands, where your family would realize, a long ways down the line, what I'd done in my past and shun me because of it.

Not old! And I took the day off- it's my birthday, pff, no way in hell am I working.

Yeah, Michael was just a WEE bit alarmed, but I think he'll get over it. Eventually. (I hope.)

Good, good, good! This works well. A day off means Eiji will be well-rested for my birthday surprise!

Ooh, I really should try out your cooking, huh? I never have, despite being curious ever since you mentioned it. And that was forever ago!

Damn right you should, Dove. I am the champion of fancy dining, and don't you forget it.

Oh. And Arai-san just caught me writing in this at work, so he told me to say that you definitely definitely should come, that he'll gladly give you a free meal, and he'll throw in a box of his new varieties of chocolate and a hug to sweeten the deal.

Ah, my boss. The picture of generosity, is this man.

All right then, Mister Champion of Fancy Dining. Tell Arai-san he doesn't have to give me a free meal, but I won't refuse the chocolates and the hug!

He really, really is.
