Has anyone seen my girlfriend, Mai? When was the last time she was in the apartment, Champ? Her things are still in her room, but she's not in there and not at any of the places around the compound she would be at if she wasn't in her room...

Don't you think I've been yelled at by Katara enough to be able to tell what her voice sounds like when it's being used like that? It's probably another spell.
