I know, but... They went from 'I hate you' 'why don't you leave me alone' to 'I love you' 'I want to spend all my time with you' over the course of Christmas break.

When people do an about face like that, I just don't see it lasting....

Well, just because they're opposites doesn't mean it won't work. It is in fact possible for two people who are very different to change and find themselves liking each other.

Granted, you can claim it won't work, but hey, people also claim knowing three languages fluently by the age of nine is impossible and you insist that's wrong, don't you?
