He's not a medical professional or anything, but he knows that dark blood is bad. Any blood is bad in his book, but dark blood is really bad, so when he pulls his hand away from his stomach (it feels eerily familiar, and he tries not to think about the last time he made the exact same movement), he's relieved to see bright red color ( Read more... )

Loved it! Nate getting shot and Sophie worried it's a perfect combination.
The return of the Bakers!!!
I've been busy writing too. A fic for the tv troping challenge for Leverageland.
I've managed to sneak in a bit of Nate/Sophie shipping!:)
If you're interested you could join too, it's actually a funny and challenging experience. Tonight there's the bingo!!

The posts, except for the rules, are locked until your assigned to a team. If your interested you sign in and then they assign you to a team. I've started this September, but it's already heist#5. I'm actually having fun and it keeps your weeks busy.I think this heist will go on until the episodes are back on air.
That's one of my team icons that I had to make.
Check it out, if you like it will be nice to have another player. My team is a bit behind in points, but I thing team thieves needs more players.

That was great. Love the glimpses at the con, Sophie's reaction to Nate getting shot... and Nate's reaction to her reaction 'cause really, it's so typically Nate; and Parker and Hardison recapping their combined injuries and bruises. Love the whole thing.

(At this point I'd say it's canon that Nate doesn't know how to duck properly when someone takes a shot at him.)

Nate had to have been one of those teenagers who was always saying, "Don't worry, guys, I got this!"

Nate hears duck and says, "No, that's a bullet."

Glad you liked it :) Nate does need to stop putting himself in front of bullets, though.
