Furries in WoW? More likely than you think

Aug 22, 2009 00:47

So WoW is getting an expansion called "cataclysm".

This is old news, I'm sure. And I don't even play WoW. But I still had to comment on the fact that they're getting both goblins for the horde (YAY GOBLINS!!). And the Alliance? Werewolves. Or, well, "Worgen". Either way, I had a sudden urge to do some Photoshoppin' and add to the internets. And ( Read more... )

wow, furries, internet

Begins?! They've had the Tauren for ages and tons of furries already play them. Of course the Alliance also has the draenei (sp?) which are all dragony for the dragon lovers our there.

Okay. So maybe they had moocows and dragonthings so far. They didn't have canines up until now. Happy?

If you play, I'm on Windrunner as Shilvereena (Blood Elf Hunter, just hitting Northrend for the first time).

Thanks for the offer, but... meh. I don't want to play a grinder-ific game that saps me my money every month. I just can't justify playing it. And even worse, I don't have the time to commit to a MMO. So... no thanks, sorry. v_v

I'm pretty sure you know where I stand. But nice 'shop anyway.

Actually, I don't know where you stand. But I'm willing to bet that you feel cheated - that Panderans should have been the race, not Worgen. And if that's the case, I fully agree with you.

So was I close?

Not cheated at all! I like the Worgen, don't get me wrong, but as long as its not Pandaren then Blizzard won't get any of my money for WoW.

Fair enough. I personally have a soft spot for the Pandarens. Played a tabletop version of WoW, D&D rules. Friend played a very good Panderan. Fit it great - was a traveling type that loved to stay at the inn. Talked in third person, and always offered spirits so strong it causes you to breathe fire. "Panda thinks you should try some more of Panda's Firewater. You don't seem to have had enough yet! *hic*"

Good times. :D

If you're referring to Second Life as being lame, I fully agree. Every time I try SL I run away just in time to prevent myself from vomiting all over the screen.

Which would honestly be an improvement to the worlds of SL. It's just plain ugly. Doesn't matter how good your PC is, it always looks, feels, moves, and smells(?) like a great big pile of stink.

The fact that there are furries there doesn't make it any more appealing to me.

Second Life? What does that have to do with WoW?

As I said in reply to Dart, I can't tolerate Second Life. I have an account there and everything, but I just have no incentive at all to play on it. And even when I am online, nobody I know is, so it's a moot point for me to play.

Second Life: for the lose.
