Knitting woes: Think I've figured out the sleeves

I sat down with the pattern and visualized what was supposed to be going on with the increases with the Aran sweater sleeves, and I've actually figured it out for myself. You and that sweater, me and French. What if we could knit IN FRENCH. Yes, it is the fever talking. I'm sick, I know. Must go drink hot tea now and write novel full of incoherent sentences and severed thoughts.

In the alteration biz, we understand instructions such as 'place this patch on right sleeve', etc. to refer to customer's right arm when it's in the garment, not when you're looking at the garment. (For then his left mirrors your right...) So I suspect the knitting instructions are likewise. Yes, I agree, kudos! And photos!
