'Tis the Season

It's about 20ºF here right now, and last night was the first time I'd gone out of the house in three days. Between being sick for most of the Mississippi trip, the trip itself -- almost 12 hours each way, and getting home and being hit with a snowstorm and plummeting temperatures almost instantaneously, my blood pretty much feels like sludge in my ( Read more... )

I got Chase a x-mas outfit at the Childrens Place and I actually found a dress for Aislinn at Sears. I felt like having them match this year so I went with a traditinal x-mas plaid... Ya know 4 years ago I had no concept of any of this (traditional or seasonal styles) nor gave a shit. Now to find something to help dress up her lovely, crazy curls... There will be no picture with Santa for us though, lol (she is terrified)

Argh. The dreaded festive season. Down here in South Africa the southeaster is howling, whipping sand and hair into faces. Searing day-time temperatures of up to 36°C and loads and loads of tourists clogging up our roads.

Bah. Humbug.

As to seasonal outfits - not sure I'd be investing money in them if I had kids, but they do look ultra-cute!
