Cosmo's Empty Head of the Week

Sep 04, 2008 23:59

This is the start of a weekly political feature that I'm hoping will be a bit funnier than a rant, yet just as pithy and pungent.

And so, without further ado... this 'Cosmo's Empty Head of the Week' award goes to...

Rush Limbaugh,  who stated on his radio show that  the McCain campaign 'is the ticket with the babe' after a week of McCain's aides ( Read more... )

political, almost but not quite a rant, empty head

Rush the pill head is fond of B words, either a serious female VP or potential Prez is either a 'babe' or she's a 'bitch'.

The fact that that law-breaking gas bag is still on the air, a paragon of important opions blows my freaking mind.

Rant away darling, I'm still sore that Hiliary wasn't made VP.

*grin* Thanks, CG.

I was really disappointed too, but Obama/Biden seem to have good plans for the issues I'm most concerned with so...^__^*

:D LOL! This is so true...and I get the distinct feeling that Gov. Palin would like to tell us what to do with ours. ^_~

*points to icon* And this is a rather bad pun...*winces and laughs*

That is a decidedly terrible pun.

I don't know a ton about American politics, but I know enough to know I don't like the Republican party very much.

*nods* I hear that a lot...

I'm an independent- I don't vote party line, I vote on the issues. I was taking a good, long look at McCain until he chose his VP.

It's too bad Palin and the other Republican leaders chose to go for ridiculing Obama and insulting grassroots politics at the RNC instead of addressing the issues the average American cares most about. If they continue in that 'pitbull' vein, I predict the bull is going to turn around and bite them in the butt come election day.

Why isn't he (or anyone else) talking about Cynthia McKinney and Rosa Clemente, the Presidential and VP candidates from the Green Party? Everyone's so enamored of Palin that no one's said, "OMG FEMALE FOR PREZ AND VP OVER HERE! DOUBLE BABE TICKET!!!"

I'm still seething that Fox News called Michelle Obama a "baby mama" a few months back. Talk about sexist and racist!

Why isn't he (or anyone else) talking about Cynthia McKinney and Rosa Clemente

Because:

a.) No one knows what they look like =P

b.) No one knows who they are as the Green Party doesn't have the funding to get the recognition they need.

c.) Because Rush feels we're a two party only system.

Fox News is the equivalent of a tabloid newspaper, and a total embarrassment to TV journalism. They destroyed what little credibility they may have had with that comment.
I don't watch it.
