R.I.P. Leroy Sievers 8/16/2008

It seems so simple and understandable, that this should affect me so profoundly, and take me by surprise two days later. It is more than just the obvious parallels--like my father, Leroy's cancer began as colon cancer, Leroy and I are the same age.  I've never talked to anyone about listening to his podcasts, reading his blog--I don't even remember
