Family traditions

After speaking with Tezuka-kun about fishing I’ve spotted one thing that went missing in my childhood - any kind of outdoor activities for the whole family. Tezuka went fishing, some of my friends went hiking, boating, biking or whatever people usually do with their parents in their spare time. It’s a pity my family didn’t have a tradition like ( Read more... )

Don't feel bad! I don't have any traditions either!

I've never thought this thing would bother me so much, but after having heard about other people happy family events...
We are sorta companions in in the lack of such traditions

Companions indeed! We just need to make up our own traditions!

That's exactly what I've thought! Maybe one should start with his own tennis-club? *thinks*

Our family has so many traditions, it's not even funny. My grandmother thinks that some of them are starting to die out, and is worried that only one of her grandchildren is actually interested in trying to keep them alive. Of course, they're traditional traditions, so it's somewhat understandable.

But you do like some of them, right?
And ain't you that grandchild of hers who's actually interested in keeping those traditions alive?

Of course I do.

And yes, I am.

Family traditions can act as a foundation but if you don't have any, perhaps it's time to start building one?

Different families have different realms of history and experience, nothing wrong with not having tradition.

It's kinda wrong time for doing it. Kaori is too often out, busy with her university life, father is as usually at work... And it's somehow embarrassing to ask for things like that at my age

Welcome in our club :)
I'm thinking that maybe we should organize something like that in our tennis-club. It's a pity it's almost time to graduate

WHY ARE WE GRADUATING?
Let's flunk together. All of us. Or kidnap Zaizen and Kinkin. Zaizen can pass as a high schooler, Kinkin on the other hand... well, we can toss him in the equipment shed and let him out to eat and practice.

WE CAN'T SEPARATE. >:

That's what I keep asking myself sometimes!
I'd better stay away from both flunking and kidnapping... But some team-activity like camping or whatever sounds like fun!
Zaizen will surely pass, by the way. Both by appearance and brains
I'm sure Kin-chan would be delighted by such highschool life - only food and tennis :)

Well, sorry there, Kin-chan
I'll re-formulate it for you: what do you usually do together with your parents in you spare time?
