I don't like to deal with editors. Generally my journal editors are very nice people - understanding and even friends. Once I had quite unpleasant experience with the editor who tried to persuade everybody that I just couldn't put words down together. Whether it's Russian or English speaking/writing fandom, there's alway a great debate about offering and receiving concrit (constructive criticism). It seems guaranteed to start arguments. :-)

Okay. By the standards of the other fic writer, did your story disgrace Russian literature (joins you in !) by being a threesome or for some more stylistic reason? Because I don't aspire to be Joseph Conrad or Jane Austen when *I* write...It would be nice, but I know my limits. *g*

Huh, sure it was erotic part of the story, that set me up ;)) But it was actually quite mild, cause I even gave it to my mum to read and check style, she was o'key with it (besides slash remark) and said that it had been written really nice. And she is good in editing and criticizing and often reads my stories. Though I wouldn't object to write like Jane Austen :))
Yeah, two big problems with fandom - sort of puritanism and dislike for criticism. Oh, and *i know better...*
Hmm, may be I'll try to translate it or better rewrite it in English.
