as of late this afternoon max is no longer with us. the cancer had spread so badly and she was in so much pain, it was decided it was best she be put down. so tomorrow when you wake up, realize that the greatest pet to have ever lived is no longer alive. max you were the greatest, you will be missed more than your doggy brain could ever have

Maxine was amazing. Such a sweet thang.
Cleo has recently departed as well. She had been really sick for a while and I was on the verge of having to put her down when she ran away. I know it's the instinct of animals to do that when they want to die, and in a way, it was a relief that I didn't have to make the decision for her, but it's been rough.
I hope to see you sometime soon...wasn't your birthday last week? I'm usually on top of that shit. Oops. Love you, McGee...
