Now that everyone reads it, Twitter doesn't seem as fun anymore. It's like my thoughts go through an additional filter that runs along my mouth fingers and my brain before I submit a tweet. I think I'm too much of an open book; and sometimes, it feels overwhelming when strangers get to flip those pages and catch a glimpse of who you are. People ( Read more... )

Hahahhaa, i guess this only happens when we're being paranoid or feeling particularly emotional on certain days. I moderate and delete my tweets almost all the time; even my blog entries, if you noticed. Although it's usually more on impulse. I miss the entries in my old blogs. Deleted the whole site and now I can't get it back :(

Anw, twitter is indeed very open to the public's eye. Esp. when we don't set it to private. I was tweeting about heading to a training venue and some random dude actually (had all the time in the world) did a twitter search and reply to every single person who tweeted that keyword. What an oddball.

I don't think the followers on Twitter is the problem. I'm more afraid of my Facebook crowd. There are people you add because you HAD to, not by choice but just.. because. And then, there's statuses, or rather pictures, that you don't want these people to see. I guess I can understand what you mean about it being invasive now.
