So this was my first attempt at slash, of sorts. Seeing as how I didn't twist anything too far out of context, I'm thinking this can be seen as an overview of their canon friendship if that's what you prefer. In all honesty, I'm not sure how strongly the slash came through. If I failed miserably in that respect, let me know, but be nice about it. :P
I'm not a big fan of using a band like Nickelback for a vid, but the line about seeing "the day nobody died" wormed its way into my head and wouldn't leave. Both Clark and Bruce's lives have been marked by tragedy (Bruce's moreso) and I feel that impossible goal is one they can both identify with, even if they chase after it in different ways.
My intent in starting this vid was to say goodbye to the Justice League fandom. Yet after the whole thing came together in basically a day, I'm less sure if I should hang up this particular cape for good. I'd forgotten how fun this show is to vid. :D In any case, if this is in fact my JLU swan song, I'm fine with using this as a send-off to the fandom that got me started. It certainly has more depth than any of my other JLU vids, yet I did my best to keep up the excitement that I like to think marks my previous work in the fandom. :)
Apologies for the varying video quality; most of my season one and two episodes were at lower resolutions.
Feedback is always appreciated, and I'd doubly love you if you posted it to this central entry rather than any comms I might've x-posted to. Enjoy!
