Merlin really is lovely. He's open and warm and easy with his affections. Too easy, it seems. Everything was trundling along so smoothly I was poised on the edge of my seat waiting for the other shoe to drop. It certainly fell from a great height.
I know Arthur didn't want to pressure Merlin, make Merlin make choices and possibly choose to stop doling out the fantastic sex and sweet friendship. Now Arthur's feeling hurt and stupid and not a little angry. I'm off to see how they get through this.
