I felt so bad for Colin when his friends didn't show up. Luckily Bradley was there to save him because it could have been a lot worse. Great job.

I'm really touched that you related so well with this story, and that you would share that with me. You seem absolutely wonderful, and I'm sorry that you've felt the same feelings Colin has, because they're very hard feelings, and I wish all the Bradleys in the world on you. <3

Oh. This was so deliciously angsty and painful and heartbreaking. Real life vs. perfect life, plus Colin's insecurities and tendency to isolate himself, however unwillingly. I think that description Katie gave him -- 'holding a cat that tries to twist out of your arms' -- is touch-perfect. Heartbreaking, this loneliness. Thank God Bradley didn't hold a grudge. ♥

I also loved immensely the description of Katie's morning routine. I think it was very her,how she seems to us sometimes, but more than that, I just loved it regardless of which character it was done for. Some amazing language work there, the sparseness, the clean wording, it was all wodnerful.

Now I find myself wondering how they'd deal with restarting their relationship, with Colin's relationships with Katie and Eion (does Bradley know? how does he feel?), with whatever Bradley's been up to that year... I'm just saying, if you ever think of writing a sequel, it would have an eager audience waiting for it. ;)

Wonderful, poignant read. ♥

Thank you so much for this lovely comment. ^.^ I always appreciate when people point out what they like for me. <3

I have toyed with the idea of a follow-up, and perhaps when I have some time this summer, I'll work on one for you! =)

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF I loved all three stories, but I think the Eoin/Colin one was my favourite for its natural simplicity and honesty. Also possibly for outrageously drunk Colin, because that can never let me down :P
Thank you so much for sharing! Your writing is beautiful and full of wonderful, wonderful imagery.
